Vendor Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information from and about vendors:

• Vendor identity and business information: your name, business or trade name, mobile number, email address, and business address where collected.
• KYC and verification information: PAN details, identity documents (such as Aadhaar where you choose to provide it), and the results of verification checks.
• Driver information you submit: driver profiles, contact details, licence and identity documents, and driver assignment records for drivers you add to your fleet.
• Vehicle information: RC details, vehicle registration numbers, vehicle category, brand, model, colour, fuel type, and insurance and permit information where collected.
• Financial information: bank account details and verification results (including IFSC-related information), wallet balance and transactions, settlement records, vendor earnings, commission information, and payout history.
• Fleet and booking activity: driver and vehicle assignments, bookings handled by your fleet, trip information, and fleet performance activity.
• Device and technical information: device model, operating system, app version, notification identifiers, and diagnostics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Verify your identity and business through KYC before activating your vendor account.
• Verify the drivers and vehicles you add before they serve bookings.
• Operate fleet management: driver and vehicle assignment, booking allocation, and trip tracking for your fleet.
• Calculate vendor earnings and commission, manage your wallet, and process settlements and payouts to your verified bank account.
• Prevent fraud, including fake driver accounts, fake vehicles, and fraudulent trips.
• Send you booking, fleet, and account notifications.
• Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

3. Your Responsibility for Driver and Vehicle Data

When you submit information about drivers or vehicle owners — including their personal details and documents — you confirm that you have the authority or permission to share that information with OTPCabs for platform onboarding, verification, and operations.

You must handle the personal data of your drivers and of customers lawfully, use it only for platform operations, and keep it confidential.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share vendor-related information only as needed:

• KYC and verification providers: to verify identity, PAN, and business information.
• Banking verification and payment providers: to verify bank accounts and process settlements and payouts.
• Customers and drivers: operational details necessary to fulfil bookings served by your fleet.
• Cloud and infrastructure providers: who host our systems under confidentiality and security obligations.
• Government and law enforcement authorities: where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain vendor records for as long as your vendor account is active, and afterwards for the period required by applicable law, including tax, accounting, and transport regulations. KYC and financial records are retained as required by applicable regulations.

6. Data Security

We protect vendor data with encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. Bank details are handled through verified payment channels. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your data we will act in accordance with applicable law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• View and update your vendor profile and bank details from the Vendor App.
• Control device permissions and notification settings from your device at any time.
• Request a copy of your data or raise privacy questions through the contact details below.
• Request deletion of your vendor account through the app or by contacting support. After deletion, data is erased or anonymised except records we must keep under applicable law. Driver accounts under your fleet are handled per the Driver Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services such as KYC providers, banking verification providers, payment processors, push-notification services, and crash-reporting tools. These providers process data under their own privacy policies to the extent they act as independent controllers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision. Material changes will be notified through the app or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Vendor App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
